I live in rural Minnesota with my husband, two kids, and two cats! I'm a stay at home mom with a small photography business and I also write for a blog. We are a semi-crunchy family - both kids were born at home and our family practices attachment parenting and co-sleeping!
Join me and try out Kid Things! Seriously, we have everything you could possibly need for your kiddos :)
Photography, hiking, reading novels (when I have a spare moment!), Caribou coffee, making chalkboard art, binge-watching Netflix after the kids fall asleep (most recently The Walking Dead and Call the Midwife!).
I love everything birth-related and can be found watching birth videos or rocking out to Regina Spektor while I do the dishes. My favorite movies are Ever After, Pride and Prejudice, Cold Mountain, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower (which also happens to be one of my favorite books!).
I wanted to be a Kid Things Brand Maven because I really appreciate the service they offer. As a busy mom, I hate clothes shopping with the kids. Dragging them in and out of their car seats to multiple stores is not my idea of fun! When I heard of Kid Things, I was excited to try it out, and after using the service just once, I was hooked. Not only is it great for regular clothing shopping, it makes coordinating outfits for holidays SO much easier. I'm LOVING Kid Things and I think everyone should be introduced to it, which is why I'm so excited to be a brand maven. I also think that their partnership with Educare schools is great-I love supporting a company that supports kids in any way.
Kid Things is special because they offer a service you can't find anywhere else. On top of that, it's FREE! So not only can I shop from multiple brands at once, the stylists provide me with options and take my feedback to find exactly what I'm looking for. And free shipping, straight to my house so I don't have to haul the kids around? I'm 100% sold!
I have a four year old daughter who LOVES dressing up. She also adores animals, the outdoors, and can be found 'mothering' stuffed animals and her little brother throughout the day. Her favorite activity is her dance and gymnastics class, and if you ask her about it she will talk your ear off! She's the sweetest little girl with a hint of sass ;) My son is almost two and he is BUSY. He climbs everything he can get a foothold on. If he isn't climbing, he's usually chasing his sister around copying whatever she's doing. He loves to dance and play outside, but also loves a good cuddle.
